Bangladesh Review

Wherever he went in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Cox’s Bazaar, Teknaf, St Martins, Srimangal, Sunamganj, Netrokona, Birishiri

Travel experience
To get around Bangladesh, I took mostly local transport including CNS’s and share taxis. Before coming to Bangladesh, I have traveled almost 30 countries all over the world.

Hitchhiking
No, but I would like to try! Unfortunately there are not too many cars in rural Bangladesh.

Adventure
Getting on the back of a motorcycle with two other guys and my bags, and weaving in and out if traffic and small villages. I was not sure where I was or where I was going, but it was fun!

Worthy
Taking a boat from Sunamganj to Mahonganj and seeing all of the small villages and countryside of Bangladesh, watching all the people I about their daily lives on the river. River dolphins also came up out of the water right beside me!

Boring
All the time spent waiting for share taxis to leave! In Mahanganj I waited for 40 minutes inside a full share taxi for the driver to come!

People and nature
The Bangladeshi people are super nice and always ready to speak with you, Even if you can’t speak Bengali and they can’t speak English, it somehow works! They are also very helpful when you are lost!
