Shanto came to the forest for the first time, camping. He wants to touch lives with his different eyes. The world appeared before those eyes with a secret beauty. If you want to get this beautiful, you have to open yourself. Shanto Wants to immerse himself in the cool green and beauty.
He has a tent in his backpack. It has the necessary tools to survive. He has no knowledge of tent rules. But he left home to accompany Travelife.

The traveler enters the belly of nature. But in the beginning, when he came and got the tent, it was the locality. Travelife has no objection to setting up tents in the locality. However, when the people of that area didn’t see this type of tent before, You have to think ten times before camping there.
This is Bangladesh. Shanto has come to the borders of the country. Now he is flying over the green, India is on the other side of these greenish walls. Travelers do not bring tents in this area. People are not used to seeing tents either. So they discovered Shanto as a ghost.
Now he knows how far he will go and where he will stay. The Bangladesh-India Zero Line is very closer to where he is. India is on the other side of the hills range. Hills walls between the two countries.
It’s Garo Hills. Most of this hill is in the Indian state of Meghalaya. Some parts are in Assam. These hills cover an area of eight thousand square kilometers. It is part of the Garo-Khasia Mountains. Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, is located in the Garo Hills. To the west of the hill is another town, Tura.
The city of Tura is close to Haluaghat on the Bangladesh border. Vhogai river of clear water flows through the zero lines of the Panihata border of Haluaghat. Tura district is on the other side of the river. Sometimes fog, sometimes hills between Panihata and Tura.
Shanto is not in Panihata now. There is no Vhogai river here. There is a river named Ganeshwari.
This river also comes from Garo hills. A bunch of greens has been cut in Bangladesh. Leaving Ganeswari aside, settlements have sprung up at the foot of the hill.
Bengalis and hill people live in this settlement. The Garos are more numerous in the hills. Then there is Hajong. Hadi, the Koch ethnic group is also settled here. The Trib and Bengali settlement is now very beautiful here.
The name of this beautiful area is Lengua with a unique wildness.
Wildlife. Basically, wildlife is not as exciting as it sounds. Here is everything about civilization. The hills merge with the plains here. And there is no risk to wildlife. However, wild boar infestation can be seen. And there are wild reptiles and birds.
There are deer in the Indian part. Not on this side. So there is no big risk for Shanto in a tent. The forest is great for tents. It’s wintertime. The area is fairly dry.
This is not supposed to happen in the rainy season. It is a hill, the soil here is slippery on it. There is plenty of rain on the hill. The whole area stays wet during the monsoon. There may be snakes in the bushes. Or any rare poisonous animal. And the annoyance of leech is there. It can be seen that a small leech is chirping on the common grass. And if you go a little deeper, you can see huge leeches.
There is no outbreak of leech in winter. The soil is also fairly dry. The fog goes down and soaks it gently. Winter and fog attract beautiful tourists.
Shanto has a backpack on his back, which looks a lot like Travelife’s logo. The backpack is emblazoned on the back of the letter ‘A’ in the logo. Backpack basically means travel. That is the arrangement of survival. The whole life of a person can be called travel.
The biggest fight you have to do in the hills is with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes in this area are not common. This annoying creature will not only disturb Shanto, but it can also make him sick. It can lead to terrible diseases like malaria or dengue. So he has to keep a mosquito net with him.
Another annoying animal is the leech. They Will secretly stick to your body. You may be coping, on the one hand, they are sucking blood on the other. Even if they are taken away, the place itches like crazy. They are reckless about eating blood. And patience is very low. There are many leeches, eating blood makes the body huge. Later, they could not handle the pressure and burst. Yet their blood-sucking does not stop. Is there any prevention of leech with Shanto?
There is no fear of leech now for Shanto. If he had come here during the rainy season, separate preparations would have been needed for the leech. He needed socks like a net. If he didn’t do that, the leech would jump up on the skin. They grab the shoes at the beginning. Later the grooves of the body, the folds of the cloth open, and the skin are searched. They can easily reach the skin if travelers have normal socks on their feet.
For those who is walking the trail of this story, is not irrelevant. They need to be taught a good strategy to avoid leech infestation. Tobacco leaves act as an antidote. Those who do not smoke can also carry a pack of cigarettes. Before entering the leech-prone area, open the packet and take out the tobacco. Take water in a bowl and mix it with it like tea. Then soak the socks in this tobacco water. You can also apply it to the skin of the body. But not too much. Remember, tobacco is a poison.
Tobacco poison leech is very disliked. If you have tobacco all over your body, it will stay away from you.
This is his first challenge. So it is normal to be scared. Very common area. There are many localities in the vicinity. And there are a lot of people behind the camera. Even then, fear is moving by his side.

If you find the right place, prepare the tent leaves. The question remains, what will be the right place?
A flat place is needed first of all. If the place is not equal, you will not be able to sleep properly. There should be no rocks or tree roots under the tent. If the place is suitable, the roots can be removed and cleaned. There should be nothing sharp below. This can tear the fabric used as a floor in the tent.
In short, he needs a place where he can sleep comfortably. No sloping place can be chosen during the monsoon. Then the rain will roll and soak everything. One more thing to keep in mind at that time, no tent can be pitched next to any hill rhyme. Again, not next to any dried Jhiri. At any time, water can come down the waterway. Then you are afraid of being swept away.
Now the question is how to get a tent?
Each tent has its own rules. That is a light tent like being alone.
It will survive even in moderate winds. However, if a large branch falls off the top of the head, this tent will not be able to protect Shanto. So that aspect must also be considered.
But it is better not to pitch a tent in the hot sun.

The tent leaf work is over. This time the area has to be made safe. Making the area safer means you stay safe and keep the jungle safe. make a circle a little away from the area where you are getting the tent. Remove grass and herbs from a part of that circle.
Now the time of other arrangements. That means arranging food and drink here. Remember, it is best to keep cooking and eating away from the tent. If it is arranged very close to the tent, the smell of some can come from insects, reptiles, and insects when you are asleep at night. Even a ferocious animal can come and attack.
If you want to light a fire for cooking, you also need to keep it away from the tent. And the movement of the wind must be kept in mind. Sparks of fire can fly in the reckless air at any time. Again, the sparks can fly and create fires in the forest.
